Artifacts
Although Francis John Byrne describes the few La Tène artifacts discovered in Ireland as 'rather scanty', most of the artifacts (mostly weapons and harness pieces) have been found in the North of Ireland, suggesting 'small bands of settlers (warriors and metalworkers) arrived' from Britain in the 3rd century BC, and may have been absorbed into the Ulaid population.
