Ukrainian State

The Ukrainian State (Ukrainian: Українська держава, Ukrains’ka Derzhava) or The Hetmanate (Ukrainian: Гетьманат, Het’manat) was a short-lived polity in Ukraine installed after the Central Rada of the Ukrainian People's Republic was disbanded on 28 April 1918. It was created by Ukrainian Cossacks with the support of the Central Powers.
