The Ukrainian Figure Skating Championships are a figure skating national championship held annually to determine the national champions of Ukraine. Medals are awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.
The Russian language predominates in figure skating in Ukraine, although Ukrainian is the native language of about 67% of the general population. International Skating Union biographies generally give Ukrainian skaters' names in Russian rather than Ukrainian form.

The native act and figure of my heart

But I will wear my heart upon my sleeve
For daws to peck at: I am not what I am.”
