The UEFA Women's Champions League is the first international women's association football club competition for teams that play in UEFA nations. Initially known as the UEFA Women's Cup, the competition has been re-branded since the 2009-2010 edition as the UEFA Women's Champions League. Since then, the winner is decided in a new one-off final, as opposed to the two-legged ties in previous years.

Famous quotes containing the words women, champions and/or league:
“I was perfectly certain that I had nothing to offer of an individual nature and that my only chance of doing my duty as the wife of a public official was to do exactly as the majority of women were doing ...”

Whence should come the trust and cheer?

The champions and enthusiasts of the state:”
