Recent Successes
The club's recent success include winning the Irish Volleyball Intervarsities in November 2002. In February 2003, they travelled to Britain to enter the British Volleyball Intervarsities, coming 9th out of 16 teams in the British Volleyball Intervarsities, held in Leeds, UK. They received the UCC Athletic Union Most Improved Club in March 2003. In November 2010 in Dublin, UCC won the Irish Volleyball Intervarsities, beating UUJ in the final. In February 2011, they came 8th out of 16 teams in the British Volleyball Intervarsities in Norwich. In November 2011, the Irish men won the Irish Volleyball Intervarsities beating out once again UUJ for the second year in a row, while the women's team fell to Trinity and placed second. The Irish men's team went on to win the British Volleyball Intervarsities in Norwich in Feb. 2012 becoming the first Irish men's team to do so.
