Ubon United Football Club (Thai สโมสรฟุตบอลอุบล ยูไนเต็ด), is a Thai semi professional football club based in Ubon Ratchathani. The club was formed in 2009 and entered the Regional League Division 2 and allocated into the North-East Division.
Ubon only managed to play up to week 16 of the 22 week season before withdrawing due to a dispute with the Football Association of Thailand (FAT), in turn getting a 2 year ban from entering any competition.
Famous quotes containing the word united:
“The boys dressed themselves, hid their accoutrements, and went off grieving that there were no outlaws any more, and wondering what modern civilization could claim to have done to compensate for their loss. They said they would rather be outlaws a year in Sherwood Forest than President of the United States forever.”
—Mark Twain [Samuel Langhorne Clemens] (1835–1910)
