Partnership With Farm Sanctuary
On March 7, 2007, Turtle Mountain announced a partnership with Farm Sanctuary, a national farm animal protection organization, and cartoonist Dan Piraro, the creator of the syndicated panel cartoon Bizarro. The campaign's stated intention is to "tap children's natural affinity for animals and educate them about healthy nutrition and the impact of factory farming on animals and the environment." As part of the alliance, Turtle Mountain launched a brand of allergen-free fruit pops, dubbed "So Delicious Kidz Pops".

Famous quotes containing the words partnership, farm and/or sanctuary:
“Society is indeed a contract.... It is a partnership in all science; a partnership in all art; a partnership in every virtue, and in all perfection. As the ends of such a partnership cannot be obtained in many generations, it becomes a partnership not only between those who are living, but between those who are living, those who are dead, and those who are to be born.”
—Edmund Burke (17291797)
“I respect not his labors, his farm where everything has its price, who would carry the landscape, who would carry his God, to market, if he could get anything for him; who goes to market for his god as it is; on whose farm nothing grows free, whose fields bear no crops, whose meadows no flowers, whose trees no fruit, but dollars; who loves not the beauty of his fruits, whose fruits are not ripe for him till they are turned to dollars. Give me the poverty that enjoys true wealth.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“There is immunity in reading, immunity in formal society, in office routine, in the company of old friends and in the giving of officious help to strangers, but there is no sanctuary in one bed from the memory of another. The past with its anguish will break through every defence-line of custom and habit; we must sleep and therefore we must dream.”
—Cyril Connolly (19031974)
