Famous quotes containing the words turner, classic and/or movies:
“O shining Popocatapetl, It was thy magic hour:
The houses, people, traffic seemed
Thin fading dreams by day;
Chimborazo, Cotopaxi
They had stolen my soul away!”
—Walter James Turner (18891946)
“For years, they have all been dying
Out, the classic buck-and-wing men”
—James Dickey (b. 1923)
“The movies today are too rich to have any room for genuine artists. They produce a few passable craftsmen, but no artists. Can you imagine a Beethoven making $100,000 a year?”
—H.L. (Henry Lewis)
