The Tunisian Taekwondo team put up a 2-4 record, with both wins coming in the Men's under 80 kg class, where Hichem Hamdouni won a bout in both the main draw and the repechage, but was finally eliminated by Asian champion Yossef Karami.

- Repechage Round 1: Defeated Donald David Geisler of Philippines (Referee stopped contest; Round 2, 1:41)
- Repechage Round 2: Lost to Yossef Karami of Iran (4 - 12)
Women's Under 67kg:
- Mounira Nahdi
- Round of 16: Lost to Mouna Benabderassoul of Morocco (2 - 6)
