Tuesday Afternoon - Part Two

Part Two

The second half of the album version is a track entitled "(Evening) Time to Get Away", which is uncredited on the original album. Composed by John Lodge, the song hinges on the end of a work day and returning home.

Most classic rock stations play the complete eight-minute track which contains both parts of the song.

Famous quotes containing the word part:

But I must needs take my petulance, contrasting it with my accustomed morning hopefulness, as a sign of the ageing of appetite, of a decay in the very capacity of enjoyment. We need some imaginative stimulus, some not impossible ideal which may shape vague hope, and transform it into effective desire, to carry us year after year, without disgust, through the routine- work which is so large a part of life.
    Walter Pater (1839–1894)

Shame, what was it? It was part of extreme delight. It was that part of delight of which man is usually afraid. Why afraid? The most secret, shameful things are most terribly beautiful.
