TRW Automotive, headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, USA, is a major American-based global supplier of automotive systems, modules and components to automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and related aftermarkets.

TRW originally stood for "Thompson Ramo Wooldridge"; it was formed when Thompson Products merged with Ramo-Wooldridge in 1958.

The company's operations primarily encompass the design, manufacture and sale of safety systems and is one of the world's largest players in the field. It operates approximately 200 facilities with 70,000 employees in 26 vehicle-producing countries. TRW's shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol TRW.
