The entire parade is supervised by the Field Officer in Brigade Waiting, known as the Field Officer and the parade commander in charge, with the assistance of the Brigade Major and the Adjutant, all on horseback, and joined by the London District Garrison Sergeant Major, who is unmounted and coordinates the proceedings of the ceremony.
