Trans TV

Trans TV (Televisi Transformasi Indonesia) is an Indonesian national television station based in South Jakarta. Owned by Chairul Tanjung, It was started television network officially opened television broadcasting on-air nationalwide launched on 15 December 2001 at 19:30 tonight local time form today officially opened by Ministry Department of Informatics and Communications names Syamsul Mu'arif at Trans TV Television Centre Headquarters at Jalan Kapten Pierre Tendean No. 12-14A in Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta in Jakarta. Chairul Tanjung was named as the Chief Exclusive Officer and Ishadi Soetopo Kartosapoetro was named as the President Director. In 15 December 2006 based in Trans TV Television Centre Headquarters in South Jakarta due to its half ownership by Trans Corporation, a company that also owned Trans7. The station is similar to other commercial stations, showing news, movies, drama series, variety shows, quiz shows, and children's programs.
