Trail Difficulty Ratings
A simple colored symbol to classify a trail's difficulty was first used for ski trails and is now being used for hiking, bicycle, other trails and even airport security lines.
- Green circle - easy
- Blue square - moderate
- Black diamond - difficult
Other systems may be used in different locations.
