It is claimed to be the authentic, more effective version of Wing Chun taught exclusively to William Cheung by Yip Man. Cheung claims it is superior to the conventional Wing Chun system, referred to by William Cheung as "modified Wing Chun".

Famous quotes containing the words traditional and/or wing:

If the technology cannot shoulder the entire burden of strategic change, it nevertheless can set into motion a series of dynamics that present an important challenge to imperative control and the industrial division of labor. The more blurred the distinction between what workers know and what managers know, the more fragile and pointless any traditional relationships of domination and subordination between them will become.
    Shoshana Zuboff (b. 1951)

The sin of my ingratitude even now
Was heavy on me. Thou art so far before
That swiftest wing of recompense is slow
To overtake thee. Would thou hadst less deserved,
That the proportion both of thanks and payment
Might have been mine! Only I have left to say,
More is thy due than more than all can pay.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
