Touch Me (Samantha Fox Album)
Touch Me was the first pop album of British model-turned-singer Samantha Fox, released in the fall of 1986. The album was certified gold and featured four UK chart hits, two of which also charted in the US.
In Canada, with heavy promotion on local radio station CJCB in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Fox's first single and album gradually broke into the local and mainstream Canadian music market and eventually North America.
On July 25, 2012, Cherry Red Records (UK) released a special two disc deluxe reissue of Samantha’s first album, “Touch Me.” Compiled with personal input from Samantha herself, the CD includes an extensive booklet, reversible cover art, newly added photos, a fully illustrated discography and recording data, full lyrics and new sleeve notes written especially for this release.

Famous quotes containing the words touch and/or fox:
“What are you now? If we could touch one another,
if these our separate entities could come to grips,
clenched like a Chinese puzzle . . . yesterday
I stood in a crowded street that was live with people,
and no one spoke a word, and the morning shone.
Everyone silent, moving. . . . Take my hand. Speak to me.”
—Muriel Rukeyser (19131980)
“We follow where the Swamp Fox guides,
His friends and merry men are we;
And when the troop of Tarleton rides,
We burrow in the cypress tree.
The turfy hammock is our bed,
Our home is in the red deers den,
Our roof, the tree-top overhead,
For we are wild and hunted men.”
—William Gilmore Simms (18061872)
