Achievements and Standards
Ofsted (November 2011) graded most aspects of the school as good or outstanding (satisfactory in Early Years). Torah Temimah Primary is one of the top performing primary schools in the London Borough of Brent and the majority of students achieve above-average levels in SATs. As of July 2012, unofficial results of the 2012 National Curriculum tests for Torah Temimah show that:
• In Early Years (Reception class), 73% of children achieved at least 78 points in the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile plus at least 6 points in each strand of CLL and PSE.
• Approximately 75% of pupils in Year 1 achieved or exceeded the "expected" mark of 31 marks out of 40 in the first year of the new statutory national Phonics Screening Check, and 35% of pupils achieved 39 or 40 marks. In the national pilot of the Phonics Screening Check, only about 33% of children achieved 31 marks or more.
• In the Year 6 Key Stage 2 tests, 100% of pupils scored at least the expected Level 4 in both English and Maths, and 60% achieved Level 5 in English, 85% achieved Level 5 in maths.
Torah Temimah holds a Healthy Schools bronze award and an Eco Schools award.
