Tongue Piercing

A tongue piercing is a body piercing usually done directly through the center of the tongue, and is the most popular piercing site in the western world after the ear. Standard tongue piercings, or one hole in the center of your tongue, is the most common and safest way to have your tongue pierced. Its popularity is increasing rapidly, especially amongst teenage girls and young women, due to the amount of celebrities that have it done. Due to the fact that it isn't visible, it is the second most popular choice of piercing (over ears) for those who work in offices, or in professions where visible piercings are not permitted.
