Tommy Le Noir - Early Life

Early Life

Le Noir was born in Bryan, Texas but spent his early years in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, part of the New Orleans metropolitan area. As a teenager, Le Noir’s family returned to Texas, settling in Arlington. Le Noir graduated with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Le Noir himself credits his career in the law enforcement field to his father. Aside from serving in the military, Le Noir’s father was a heavyweight professional boxer who was a natural “protector” of not only his family and friends, but of anyone he felt was being abused or mistreated.

Famous quotes containing the words early and/or life:

    Probably more than youngsters at any age, early adolescents expect the adults they care about to demonstrate the virtues they want demonstrated. They also tend to expect adults they admire to be absolutely perfect. When adults disappoint them, they can be critical and intolerant.
    —The Lions Clubs International and the Quest Nation. The Surprising Years, I, ch.4 (1985)

    And we can get back to that raw state
    Of feeling, so long deemed
    Inconsequential and therefore appropriate to our later musings
    About religion, about migrations. What is restored
    Becomes stronger than the loss as it is remembered;
    Is a new, separate life of its own.
    John Ashbery (b. 1927)
