Tom Daley (diver) - Personal Life

Personal Life

Daley lives in Plymouth in a home purchased in early 2013, near that of his mother, Debbie, and two brothers, William and Ben. His father, Robert, died from a brain tumour on 27 May 2011, aged 40, after a long battle with cancer. Daley is a good friend with American female diver Kassidy Cook, multiple Junior National Champion in one-metre and three-metre springboard, whom he has known since the age of 13. In 2012 they were rumoured to be in a relationship by the Daily Mail. Daley later denied the claims. During the Olympics, Tom Daley and his diving partner, Peter Waterfield, became subject to homophobic tweets by a professonal footballer.

In 2012 Daley appeared in Series 1, Episode 3 of the CBBC's 12 Again.

Famous quotes containing the words personal and/or life:

Persecution was at least a sign of personal interest. Tolerance is composed of nine parts of apathy to one of brotherly love.
    Frank Moore Colby (1865–1925)

The train was crammed, the heat stifling. We feel out of sorts, but do not quite know if we are hungry or drowsy. But when we have fed and slept, life will regain its looks, and the American instruments will make music in the merry cafe described by our friend Lange. And then, sometime later, we die.
    Vladimir Nabokov (1899–1977)
