Grisham has an older brother named Jeff. Grisham became engaged to Alyson DeRenzis in June 2009; they are now married. Grisham also has a daughter, Mia Mae Grisham, which he announced on Twitter on June 11, 2011. On the January 11th broadcast of ESPNNEWS's "Highlight Express" Grisham confirmed on-air and on his Twitter page that he had a yet-to-be passed kidney stone.
