Sticks 'N' Stuff Involvement
Despite no longer driving the Sticks 'N' Stuff-sponsored race car, Gordon continues to appear in the chain's television commercials announcing current specials. In earlier ads, she was captioned as "NASCAR Driver" and "Sticks 'N' Stuff Driver". In the most recent television ads for "Sticks 'N' Stuff", debuted in the summer of 2008, Ms. Gordon has been shown wearing a tank-top, rather than traditional racing attire.

Famous quotes containing the words sticks, stuff and/or involvement:
“It is now many years that men have resorted to the forest for fuel and the materials of the arts: the New Englander and the New Hollander, the Parisian and the Celt, the farmer and Robin Hood, Goody Blake and Harry Gill; in most parts of the world, the prince and the peasant, the scholar and the savage, equally require still a few sticks from the forest to warm them and cook their food. Neither could I do without them.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“The idea was to prove at every foot of the way up that you were one of the elected and anointed ones who had the right stuff and could move higher and higher and evenultimately, God willing, one daythat you might be able to join that special few at the very top, that elite who had the capacity to bring tears to mens eyes, the very Brotherhood of the Right Stuff itself.”
—Tom Wolfe (b. 1931)
“Juggling produces both practical and psychological benefits.... A womans involvement in one role can enhance her functioning in another. Being a wife can make it easier to work outside the home. Being a mother can facilitate the activities and foster the skills of the efficient wife or of the effective worker. And employment outside the home can contribute in substantial, practical ways to how one works within the home, as a spouse and as a parent.”
—Faye J. Crosby (20th century)
