Famous quotes containing the words are, all, the and/or inside:
“The things men come to eat when they are alone are, I suppose, not much stranger than the men themselves.... A writer years ago told me of living for five months on hen mash.”
—M.F.K. Fisher (19081992)
“Everything
Would have been different. For it would have been
Another world. Ay, and a better, though
If we could see all all might seem good.”
—Edward Thomas (18781917)
“When the doctrine of allegiance to party can utterly up-end a mans moral constitution and make a temporary fool of him besides, what excuse are you going to offer for preaching it, teaching it, extending it, perpetuating it? Shall you say, the best good of the country demands allegiance to party? Shall you also say it demands that a man kick his truth and his conscience into the gutter, and become a mouthing lunatic, besides?”
—Mark Twain [Samuel Langhorne Clemens] (18351910)
“There was a young lady of Ryde
Who swallowed some apples and died.
The apples fermented
Inside the lamented
And made cider inside her inside.”
