Time To First Fix (TTFF) is a measure of the time required for a GPS receiver to acquire satellite signals and navigation data, and calculate a position solution (called a fix).
Famous quotes containing the words time and/or fix:
“A modern man has nothing to add to modernism, if only because he has nothing to oppose it with. The well-adapted drop off the dead limb of time like lice.”
—Elias Canetti (b. 1905)
“They are not Gods
though they would like to be;
they are only a human
trying to fix up a human.”
—Anne Sexton (19281974)
