Famous quotes containing the words time to, time and/or fix:

Easily, with a few convulsive quirks, they give up their watery ghosts, like a mortal translated before his time to the thin air of heaven.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

    David Hume (1711–1776)

Walk in this faithless grass with studious tread,
Lest mice, weasels, germane beasts, too soon
The tall hat and eyes, the fierce feet, for dead
Descry, and fix you prone in their revelling moon.
    Allen Tate (1899–1979)
