Notes
- The title is possibly a parody of Columbia's movie series "The Lone Wolf."
- The theme reverts back to the syncopated, jazzy version of "Three Blind Mice" previously used on Gents Without Cents, Three Pests in a Mess, Booby Dupes and Idiots Deluxe instead of the revamped, 'sliding strings' version used during this period.
- Beverly Warren appeared at a 2003 Three Stooges convention in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, and reported that Curly's illness was not discussed on the set. She added that filming was completed at such a rapid pace, she rarely saw Curly or Moe (as she only shared screen time with Larry).

Famous quotes containing the word notes:
“My weary limbs are scarcely stretched for repose, before red dawn peeps into my chamber window, and the birds in the whispering leaves over the roof, apprise me by their sweetest notes that another day of toil awaits me. I arise, the harness is hastily adjusted and once more I step upon the tread-mill.”
—E. B., U.S. farmer. As quoted in Feminine Ingenuity, by Anne L. MacDonald (1992)
“Speech is an arrangement of notes that will never be played again.”
—F. Scott Fitzgerald (18961940)
“If the heart of a man is deprest with cares,
The mist is dispelld when a woman appears;
Like the notes of a fiddle, she sweetly, sweetly
Raises the spirits, and charms our ears.”
—John Gay (16851732)
