Thorn’s mission is to provide outdoor and indoor luminaires and integrated controls which make it easier for customers to specify, install and maintain good quality, energy efficient lighting. A key factor in this goal is the commitment to excellence in optical performance and installer functionality.
The partnership with the Lighting Urban Community International (LUCI) - an international network that brings together 65 cities engaged in using light – forms a co-ordinated resource in addressing the growing opportunities in urban lighting.
Advances in LEDs are a major spur to progress. Thorn is innovating to incorporate LED technology into lighting solutions wherever it makes sense.
