The Thermos
After the German glassblowers determined the commercial uses for the Dewar flask, the technology was sold to the Thermos company who used it to mass-produce these flasks for at home use. The company evolved through the years, expanding the size and shapes of the product which became primarily used for carrying coffee on the go and carrying liquids on camping trips to keep them either hot or cold. The Thermos company became known for innovations in vacuum flask technology and the continued improvement on both the materials used to create such flasks and other uses for them.
