Thermal Low - Role in Air Pollution

Role in Air Pollution

Famous quotes containing the words role in, role, air and/or pollution:

Friends serve central functions for children that parents do not, and they play a critical role in shaping children’s social skills and their sense of identity. . . . The difference between a child with close friendships and a child who wants to make friends but is unable to can be the difference between a child who is happy and a child who is distressed in one large area of life.
    Zick Rubin (20th century)

    Paula Nelson (b. 1945)

For in the air all lovers meet
After they’ve hated out their love....
    Allen Tate (1899–1979)

Like the effects of industrial pollution ... the AIDS crisis is evidence of a world in which nothing important is regional, local, limited; in which everything that can circulate does, and every problem is, or is destined to become, worldwide.
    Susan Sontag (b. 1933)
