The Way You Move - Chart Performance

Chart Performance

"The Way You Move" spent eight weeks at the number-two position on the Billboard Hot 100 behind "Hey Ya!", one of the longest runs at that position in the chart's history. It finally replaced "Hey Ya!" at number one on February 7, 2004, where it stayed for one week. That was the sixth time a recording act has replaced itself on the Billboard pop chart. "The Way You Move" was ranked number five on the 2004 Billboard Year-End Chart. On the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart, "The Way You Move" peaked at number two (seven positions higher than "Hey Ya!"), and reached the top of the Hot Rap Tracks chart.

Famous quotes containing the words chart and/or performance:

Perhaps in His wisdom the Almighty is trying to show us that a leader may chart the way, may point out the road to lasting peace, but that many leaders and many peoples must do the building.
    Eleanor Roosevelt (1884–1962)

The value of old age depends upon the person who reaches it. To some men of early performance it is useless. To others, who are late to develop, it just enables them to finish the job.
    Thomas Hardy (1840–1928)
