Adaptations
The television network TNT announced plans to adapt The Talisman into a six-part mini-series, but was cancelled in 2006 due to budgetary concerns. According to a 2008 interview with Frank Marshall, it is being redeveloped as a feature film.
The Talisman is being adapted into a graphic novel much like The Stand and The Dark Tower. Del Rey has planned to run "at least 24 issues". The first issue was published in October 2009. However, the adaptation was postponed indefinitely after the first six-issue arc.
