Production Notes
At least for part of its run, The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour only taped its opening and closing segments in front of a live studio audience, along with some musical guests—which were actually taped after the closing segment was taped. All other segments were taped without an audience, with a laugh track added later.

Famous quotes containing the words production and/or notes:
“To expect to increase prices and then to maintain them at a higher level by means of a plan which must of necessity increase production while decreasing consumption is to fly in the face of an economic law as well established as any law of nature.”
—Calvin Coolidge (1872–1933)
“If the heart of a man is deprest with cares,
The mist is dispell’d when a woman appears;
Like the notes of a fiddle, she sweetly, sweetly
Raises the spirits, and charms our ears.”
—John Gay (1685–1732)
