Time magazine's James Poniewozik ranked it #8 in his list of the Top 10 Returning Series of 2007. Entertainment Weekly put it on its end-of-the-decade, "best-of" list, saying, "Det. On the review aggregator website Metacritic, the seventh season received very positive reviews with a score of 85 out of 100, based on 14 reviews.

He’s leaving Germany by special request of the Nazi government. First he sends a dispatch about Danzig and how 10,000 German tourists are pouring into the city every day with butterfly nets in their hands and submachine guns in their knapsacks. Gerald R. Ford (b. 1913)

    Walter Pater (1839–1894)
