The Outsider is the third full-length studio album by DJ Shadow, released on September 19, 2006 on Universal / Island. The album departs dramatically from DJ Shadow's signature sound; it covers a large range of styles and genres, including hyphy, indie rock, blues, spoken word, punk rock and pop rap.
