Reception
The film garnered mostly mixed reviews from critics, as The Lawnmower Man currently holds a 47% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 19 reviews. The Director's cut of the film was better received as it was considered an improvement by many with much more emphasis on character and story. The film has since earned a cult following.
