Series 2
Series 2 premiered on 1 January 1979 with "The didn't quite make it in time for Christmas Video Show". This was the last episode to be in the 45-minute format, and is considered an oddball episode due to it being the only episode to feature the big television set, and not having the standard bank of televisions behind him. Famous quotes containing the word series:
“The woman’s world ... is shown as a series of limited spaces, with the woman struggling to get free of them. The struggle is what the film is about; what is struggled against is the limited space itself. Consequently, to make its point, the film has to deny itself and suggest it was the struggle that was wrong, not the space.”
—Jeanine Basinger (b. 1936)
