The Hills (season 4) - Synopsis

Synopsis

Lauren is adjusting to life in her new home with her two best friends, Lo and Audrina. Audrina is concerned that Lo is putting a strain on her relationship with Lauren, and the two tearfully make amends, despite already looking for a new place to stay. Also, after her hardship with Brody, Lauren finds that she is ready to start dating again and briefly rekindles her relationship with her former flame, Doug. Audrina, too, continues to struggle with her relationship with Justin even after moving into her own house, especially when she hears a rumor about him hooking up with Lauren. At the Montag/Pratt residence, Heidi's sister, Holly, moves in and is an apparent strain on Spencer's life with Heidi and convinces Heidi to ask Holly to move out. With Holly out of the picture, Spencer finds it a good time to celebrate and visits Heidi at an event with Bolthouse where she gets found drinking by her boss and is immediately fired. Also, in an effort to keep Heidi all to himself, Spencer surprises her with a trip to Cabo, where they surprisingly elope. Meanwhile, Whitney starts living a bi-coastal lifestyle and travels to New York as part of her job at People's Revolution, where she eventually moves full-time. In the season finale, Stephanie convinces Spencer to give Heidi the wedding of her dreams, and Lauren says goodbye to Whitney.
