The Forum (shopping Mall)
The Forum is a popular shopping mall located on Hosur Road in Koramangala, Bangalore city in Karnataka, India. The Forum is also Bangalore's first full-fledged mall with a multi-story book store, 12 cinema halls and other entertainment facilities.
The Mall is popular among the youth in Bangalore and an attraction to those coming to Bangalore. The shopping mall houses 72,000 m2 (780,000 sq ft) of shops over five levels. The mall has everything from shoes to exercise equipment. A major attraction at the mall is the multiplex, PVR, which houses 12 screens and it features the latest Hollywood, Bollywood, Kollywood(Tamil), Tollywood(Telugu) and Sandalwood movies. The food court is called The Transit Lounge and is designed like an airport Transit Lounge. One can indulge one's taste buds at Transit, KFC, Pizza Hut or Mc Donald's.
PVR (Priya Village Roadshow) opened India's largest 12 screen multiplex in 2004 at the Forum. It was built by the Prestige group in August 2002
