Popularity and Broadcast History
During its first two seasons, The Flying Nun aired on Thursday nights at 8:00 P.M., where the series rivaled with Daniel Boone for high ratings. During its second year, the series was rivaled by Daniel Boone once more and Hawaii Five-O. During its final season, the series aired on Wednesday nights at 7:30 P.M., and rivaled The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour. All of its rival-shows ranked higher in the ratings than Flying Nun, which eventually led to its cancellation. During its three-year-run, the series' ratings never broke the Nielsen top thirty.
