The two Belgian public TV networks, VRT on the Flemish side and RTBF on the French-speaking side also broadcast their channels digitally (DVB-T).
Analogue terrestrial broadcasts are being phased out in favor of DVB-T services which, for an overwhelming majority of clients, requires rental of proprietary decoders.
