During the 2010 Turkish Grand Prix, commentator Jonathan Legard revealed that Kravitz is an aircraft pilot.
In the 2011 British Grand Prix edition of his 'Grand Prix from the Pit Lane' video series for the BBC website, Kravitz said that his wife had given birth to a baby girl and that he would miss the next two Grands Prix because he will be on paternity leave. In 2012 Kravitz had his second child, missing two Grand Prix weekends due to paternity leave.
The Kravitz name comes from his mother's side of the family.
