TE Data Jordan
On 5 February 2006, Eng. Mahmoud Kamal, former General Manager TE Data Jordan announced launching “Habayebna” the international prepaid card service using VoIP technology from any land line.
TE Data Jordan was established and licensed by the Jordanian Telecommunications Regulatory Commission in July 2004 to be TE Data's extended arm in the region and to provide internet services to the Jordanian market; Jordan was chosen to be the first TE Data's base outside Egypt because The Jordanian telecom environment enjoys full liberalization within a transparent regulatory frame that encourages investments and competition that pours in the consumers' benefit.
