Tarlac City
Tarlac City is approximately 126 km north of Manila and is the hometown of the late Sen. Benigno S. Aquino, Jr. and late former President Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino. Their third child and only son is the incumbent President, Benigno S. Aquino III. The Cojuangco family has a sugar plantation and refinery, the Hacienda Luisita on the outskirts of the city.
