Tan Kah Kee (simplified Chinese: 陈嘉庚; traditional Chinese: 陳嘉庚; pinyin: Chén Jiāgēng; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Tân Kah-kiⁿ) (October 21, 1874 – August 12, 1961) was a Singaporean businessman, community leader, and philanthropist in colonial Singapore, and a Communist leader in the People's Republic of China.
