Tamaasuka Daisuke - Fighting Style

Fighting Style

Tammasuka is proficient in both yotsu-sumo (grappling) and oshi-sumo (pushing and thrusting) techniques. He uses oshi techniques at the beginning of a match to set up his preferred yotsu position, a basic sumo style. His favoured grip on his opponent's mawashi is hidari-yotsu, a right hand outside, left hand inside position. His most often used winning kimarite is yori-kiri (force out), followed by oshi-dashi (push out).

Famous quotes containing the words fighting and/or style:

Was man made stupid to see his own stupidity?
Is God by definition indifferent, beyond us all?
Is the eternal truth man’s fighting soul
Wherein the Beast ravens in its own avidity?
    Richard Eberhart (b. 1904)

Compare the history of the novel to that of rock ‘n’ roll. Both started out a minority taste, became a mass taste, and then splintered into several subgenres. Both have been the typical cultural expressions of classes and epochs. Both started out aggressively fighting for their share of attention, novels attacking the drama, the tract, and the poem, rock attacking jazz and pop and rolling over classical music.
