Takeshi Aono - Health Problems and Death

Health Problems and Death

In May 2010, Aono checked into a hospital for an aortic dissection and suffered a stroke shortly thereafter, thus ending his career as a voice actor. His ongoing roles were replaced with other voice actors.

On the afternoon of April 9, 2012, at approximately 4:38 pm, Aono suffered a bout of post-operative multiple cerebral infractions and was found dead. Voice actress Eiko Hisamura announced Aono's death via her Twitter feed. Aono was 75 years old at the time of his death.

Famous quotes containing the words health, problems and/or death:

Medication alone is not to be relied on. In one half the cases medicine is not needed, or is worse than useless. Obedience to spiritual and physical laws—hygeine [sic] of the body, and hygeine of the spirit—is the surest warrant for health and happiness.
    Harriot K. Hunt (1805–1875)

Belonging to a group can provide the child with a variety of resources that an individual friendship often cannot—a sense of collective participation, experience with organizational roles, and group support in the enterprise of growing up. Groups also pose for the child some of the most acute problems of social life—of inclusion and exclusion, conformity and independence.
    Zick Rubin (20th century)

A rat crept softly through the vegetation
Dragging its slimy belly on the bank
While I was fishing in the dull canal
On a winter evening round behind the gashouse
Musing upon the king my brother’s wreck
And on the king my father’s death before him.
