Artistic Directors
Wayne Harrison became artistic director in 1990, followed by Robyn Nevin A.M.. In 2009, Cate Blanchett and her husband, playwright Andrew Upton took command of the company. Directors working regularly for STC include Gale Edwards, Barrie Kosky, David Berthold, Neil Armfield and Benedict Andrews.
