- In his February 1970 shows at the International Hotel, Las Vegas, Elvis Presley sang "Sweet Caroline." A performance appeared on his mid-1970 album On Stage.
- In his 1972 show in Melbourne, Australia, Roy Orbison covered the track with a full orchestral backing. This concert received a DVD release in 2005.
- In September 2004, Jimmy Buffett included "Sweet Caroline" in a medley with "Why Don't We Get Drunk" during both of his Fenway Park shows (September 10/12, 2004) stating, "Never again will those songs be played together in one medley at Fenway Park."
