"SING"
"SING" is a student-run production that includes a script/acting, dancing, art, a chorus, and a band. Students are judged on areas including originality, singing, art, acting, band, script, and dancing. There are three groups : Sophmen (freshmen and sophomores together), Juniors, and Seniors. Today, the shows have about 275 to 300 students involved. Sing began at Wagner in 1974. The competition was founded at Midwood High School in Brooklyn around 1947. This year, Senior Sing 2013 won the cup and the title of Sing 2013 Champions with their theme as "Mr. Lentil`s Carnival".

Famous quotes containing the word sing:
“Yet some, who all this while did weep and sing,
And sing and weep, soared up into the ring;
But most would use no wing.
O fools, said I, thus to prefer dark night
Before true light!”
—Henry Vaughan (16221695)
“Youll stay here with me my child, wont you? Its been so lonely without you. But youve come to me at last, havent you? Now youll sing for me and Ill play and well be together forever.”
—Eric Taylor, and Leroux. Arthur Lubin. Erique Claudin (Claude Rains)
“Events, actions arise, that must be sung, that will sing themselves. Who can doubt, that poetry will revive and lead in a new age, as the star in the constellation Harp, which now flames in our zenith, astronomers announce, shall one day be the pole- star for a thousand years?”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
