Super Dodge Ball

Super Dodge Ball, released in Japan as Nekketsu Kōkō Dodgeball Bu (熱血高校ドッジボール部, Nekketsu Kōkō Dojjibōru Bu?, lit. "Hot-Blooded High School Dodgeball Club") is a dodgeball-based sports game produced by Technos Japan Corp. originally released as an arcade game in 1987. In Japan, it was the second game starring Technos Japan's video game character Kunio-kun, following Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun (the Japanese version of Renegade), although the connection between the two games was removed in the western release. Various home versions and sequels of the game have been released for various platforms.

Famous quotes containing the words dodge and/or ball:

Behold then Septimus Dodge returning to Dodge-town victorious. Not crowned with laurel, it is true, but wreathed in lists of things he has seen and sucked dry. Seen and sucked dry, you know: Venus de Milo, the Rhine or the Coloseum: swallowed like so many clams, and left the shells.
    —D.H. (David Herbert)

I never knew anyone yet who got up at six who did anything more useful between that time and breakfast than banging a tennis ball up against the side of the house, waiting for the more civilized members of the party to get up.
    Robert Benchley (1889–1945)
