Sun Microsystems Laboratories, or Sun Labs (now Oracle Labs) was the research and development branch of Sun Microsystems. It was established in 1990 by Ivan Sutherland and Robert Sproull. Facilities were located in Menlo Park, California and Burlington, Massachusetts, USA.
